Curated Cape Town City Tour

Enjoy a full day guided tour of Cape Town city that combines both bucket list “must-see” activities as well as insider experiences not offered anywhere else. With so many amazing things to see and experience, this curated private tour can also be specially customized to your own personal interests.

Start your day with a joyride in the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, offering you a scenic ride up to the top of Table Mountain (weather dependent). Once you reach the top, you’ll be welcomed with views over Cape Town, Table Bay, Robben Island and the Atlantic seaboard to the west and the south. There’s no question why Table Mountain is constantly rated as a must do activity on any visit to Cape Town and certainly one for your bucket list. While you’re up there, spend some time walking the footpaths where you might spot a few adorable Dassie (Rock Hyrax) sunning itself on the rocks.

If you’d prefer to hike Table Mountain, scale the sides with your own personal mountaineering guide. Your expert guide will show you the ropes on the mountain to ensure your safety in addition to teaching you about the natural surroundings. [Additional cost – please email for a quote]

Next up, tick off another bucket list item with a visit to the Bo-Kaap area, or “Malay Quarter” with its brightly coloured houses and vibrant culture. Here you’ll discover the unique history, lifestyle and personality of the Cape’s Muslim community and their contribution to South Africa’s heritage.

When you’ve finished your walking tour of the Bo-Kaap, you’ll head over to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, nestled at the foot of the majestic Table Mountain. Spend some time strolling through the rolling lawns and lush, verdant gardens brimming with South Africa’s indigenous flora and fauna, fynbos. Learn about Proteas and Ericas and take a walk along the Boomslang walkway (boomslang translates as tree snake in the local dialect, Afrikaans). It’s a raised walkway that takes you on a journey over the trees tops and offers spectacular views of the Southern Suburbs and the Cape Winelands.

Finally, end your day by circumnavigating the base of the mountain and making your way to the well known Camps Bay beach for a stroll along the Camps Bay strip, returning via the Sea Point promenade. These vacation hotspots are perfect for stopping to enjoy a cocktail or observing locals going about their daily rituals.
