This modern day explorer’s tented camp is situated under a cool canopy of magnificent trees of an island forest, a calming welcome after the hustle and bustle of busy Victoria Falls International Airport. This intimate camp has only 12 guests on safari and is uniquely personable.
Stretch Bedouin tents with timber frames and sides on wooden decks situated under massive Jackalberry trees, overlooking the Zambezi River. The area comprises a lounge and dining area for 12 guests. The bar tent is adjacent to this main living area. The outside deck area, which is also in the cool forest, has a dining area flowing onto a sunken fire pit which overlooks the river. The main area is linked to the pool area which overlooks the river and is situated in a sunny spot.
The large airy safari tents are nestled on the edge of the island on the banks of the Zambezi River under the shade of deep forest. Each tent has a small covered verandah set on the river’s edge and looks directly across to the Zambezi National Park on the mainland. Wildlife frequents the water’s edge in the late afternoon and early morning. The en-suite bathrooms have a large indoor shower and a separate outdoor shower.
